No NSFW in the roleplay server itself. Mentions of nudity, gore and violence are fine, just so long as anything sexual is kept to PM. Keep this server comfortable for all, and that especially applies to NSFW.
Swearing is allowed, slurs are not. If you have to wonder "is this an okay thing for me to say?", usually that means you shouldn't. Keep in mind that we have people from all walks of life in our group and that even if you may not be affected by the slur, someone probably will be.
If someone tells you to stop, whether it's in the middle of a scene or just in conversation, stop. Keep the line of communication open with the people you're roleplaying with to avoid anyone getting stuck in a situation they don't feel comfortable with. The OOC chat is meant to be used for this, and no one will judge you for having a concurrent conversation while the roleplay goes on- it could even help your scene and make it more enjoyable for everyone involved.
When roleplaying combat, focus less on winning or losing and what would be enjoyable as a character development standpoint- think about how your character would react versus focusing on you, the player, scoring a victory. OOC communication is highly recommended for fights and similarly serious interactions!
Overall, consent within this roleplay is the key. Even for things outside of intimate contexts (what we usually associate the word consent with), asking what your roleplay partner(s) are down for is a good plan. Now that doesn't mean every single interaction needs to be checked- but if a player brings up that they'd rather not do something, or would do something else, listen! We're all good friends here and the key to this working is to communicate often.
Events will be broadcasted in the public broadcasting channel, big and small. Bigger events will likely be centric on either one area or globally, and could be anything from holidays, parties, political/global movements, mass controversy, and weather changes. Smaller events involve community going-ons in local areas, as well as broadcasts meant to help you think and develop your character a bit better. It's up to you whether you want to take part, but they're a good way to meet other characters and get yourself involved + immersed in Morbit happenings.
Currently, this roleplay group is in a closed beta- you've all been selected as the test group for this until we settle on a public release. You can share any content from the group, but there will be no further participants added outside of the Morbit Discord Server. During this period the rules and contexts of things may change drastically, and we'll be testing a lot of things to see what works and what doesn't. Please use the suggestions channel often if you have any concerns!
